HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A toy giveaway through Evansville organization Young and Established was held Tuesday.
Families and kids were there to receive toys donated by the community. Young and Established also held another giveaway to make sure those in need had food for the holidays.
The organization is not done giving out yet as the annual coat drive is coming up.
“This is one of our busiest times as far as what we do giving back,” says Executive Director Courtney Johnson. “We just want to make sure we are able to bless people in the community.
Young and Established says they have received around 400 coats thanks to Santa Clothes Club and Evansville Rescue Mission. The coat giveaway will be held January 10.
