Stolen Honolulu EMS vehicle found

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A stolen Honolulu Emergency Medical Services vehicle has been located.

Oahu residents were advised to be on the lookout for the stolen SUV during the afternoon hours of Christmas Eve.

It was stolen on Dillingham Boulevard in Kalihi around noon. After nearly three hours of searching, the SUV vehicle was located in the Liliha area.

EMS officials described the vehicle as orange and white with Honolulu EMS on the side. The license plate number is C&C 7762.

If you spot the vehicle driving around or parked in your neighborhood, do not approach it. Instead, call 911.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officials added that the vehicle is not used for EMS’s frontline operations.
