Triple shooting near Oxford High causes PTSD in some who lived through school tragedy

Three people were shot and a suspect arrested on Tuesday night in Oxford Village. The incident, at about 6:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, occurred a short distance from Oxford High School, the scene of a deadly mass shooting in November 2021. The close proximity of gunfire to the school is causing PTSD – post traumatic stress syndrome – among families whose homes are near the school and who lived through the mass shooting, according to an online chat room.
