AMHERST, N.Y. – Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar is closing its longtime Amherst location in February, with a new restaurant coming to the site. The closing affects the location at 1641 Niagara Falls Blvd. at the Boulevard, open since the 1990s, in a plaza owned by Benderson Development since 2009.
