Ohio State quarterback shuts down transfer destination rumors going on while the Buckeyes prepare for Oregon in the CFP

Ohio State has almost all of its focus on the College Football Playoff and Oregon . However, they have to put some resources toward the transfer portal too.

The Buckeyes have made four additions from the transfer portal already. They have lost multiple members of the team to the portal as well. Quarterback Devin Brown is in the portal but is one player who remains with the team as they try to make a run to win a National Championship.

Recently, there have been fake rumors going around that Brown is already committed to another school . Or, that he is taking visits while in the middle of a College Football Playoff run. Brown toon to X (Twitter) to shut down those rumors on Christmas Eve.

“Contrary to any reports, I haven’t committed to a school yet. I haven’t even visited a school. My focus is 100% on helping the Buckeyes win a national championship. Go Bucks!”

Brown got a drive to work with against Tennessee in the first-round win for Ohio State . The junior quarterback completed his only pass attempt late in the game for a six-yard gain. All season, Brown has held off talented freshman Julian Sayin as the team’s backup quarterback. Will Howard has remained healthy as the starter, so mop-up duty has been the only playing time Brown has received.
