As the clock wound down to Christmas, Jacksonville’s St. Johns Town Center transformed into a bustling hive of activity, with last-minute shoppers descending upon the retail haven as they sought to wrap up their holiday buying. Sherri Lynn Moose, who just arrived from New Jersey, found delight in the familiar as she told First Coast News, “This was one of my favorite places to visit when I came here, so now he brought me back here, so I love it here.” Despite the crowds, some like Lewis Moose found the bustling scene to be emblematic of the season, “It’s a lot of people here, but this is what this time of year is about.”
