DENTON, Texas – A pedestrian has died following a serious crash involving a car and additional collisions on University Drive, according to the City of Denton Police Department. The incident has led to the closure of the westbound lane, with traffic being diverted to Greenwood.The crash, which occurred earlier in the evening, also resulted in one person being transported in critical condition to a local hospital and the death of a dog, stated the source. The westbound lane is expected to remain closed for approximately another hour as the investigation continues.
