The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS) has issued a recall for over 7,000 pounds of raw Italian pork sausage products from Impero Foods and Meats, Inc.
The agency revealed that around 7,483 pounds of meat were distributed to Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania without undergoing federal inspection.
The statement released this week highlighted the potential presence of deadly ingredients in the products, posing a serious health risk.

The recall specifically targets raw Italian pork sausage items produced from Oct. 3 to Dec. 19. Consumers should avoid 10-lb.
