Council President Helms said after reflecting on the last four years serving District Two, he has decided not to seek reelection and will dedicate more time to his family, especially his grandchildren, and cherish the moments that his next chapter of life brings.

“I have spent my adult life serving our Nation and community, but being present for these precious moments in their lives is important to us. While stepping back from an official role, I remain committed to supporting and being an active member of our world-class community,” wrote Helms.
