NASHVILLE, Tenn.–A Tennessee pharmacist has been accused of submitting false claims totaling more than $6 million since 2018. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) reports 48-year-old Philip Hall of Jamestown was the owner, operator, and registered agent of Hall Family Pharmacy, Inc. which has locations in Jamestown and Clarkrange, Tennessee. As the pharmacist-in-charge, the DOJ says Hall submitted false claims to Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and Blue Cross Blue Shield for prescription drugs which were not medically needed, not actually dispensed, or not ordered by a doctor.
