Steve Sloan , one of the winningest head football coaches in Texas Tech history, passed away on April 14 at 79 years old.
A 19-year-old, Elaine Maribel Martinez, passed away following a crash in Hockley County on April 17. Her loved ones remembered her as a “light” who loved Jesus and had a heart of pure gold.
