Bullet found lodged in wall of garage owned by former Mayor Lori Lightfoot

CHICAGO — A bullet was found lodged in the side of former Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Logan Square home, a spokesperson confirmed to WGN.

The bullet was reported to police Thursday evening. Responding officers documented the damage and filed a report.

“No one was present for the incident, and no one was injured,” Lightfoot spokeswoman Joanna Klonsky said in an email statement.

She added that the former mayor and her family were grateful to CPD “for their attentive and quick response.”
