Construction worker saved from trench, St. Johns County Fire Rescue says

St. Johns County Fire Rescue (SJCFR) saved a construction worker from a trench earlier today on Friday, December 27.

In a post on Facebook, SJCFR stated that they responded to a call at around 2 p.m. to the 2900 block of International Golf Parkway.

According to the post, a construction worker was trapped 10 feet inside a trench.

SJCFR says the worker was successfully rescued upon arrival and transported to a nearby trauma center.
