(WKRN) — Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s Choose How You Move campaign passed November’s referendum. The plan is to improve how Nashvillians get around an increasingly crowded city. It’s expected to take 15 years to complete. News 2 asked city leaders what changes we will see in year one.

“Across this city now for the next generation, we will all enjoy the things we deserve: sidewalks, signals, service and safety,” said Mayor Freddie O’Connell on election night on Nov. 5.
