BROWNSVILLE – POLICE HAVE IDENTIFIED the 35-year-old man stabbed to death at a homeless shelter in Brownsville, Brooklyn last week as Bronx resident Robbie Miller. According to the NYPD, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 1691 East New York Ave., a former Days Inn, at 6:14 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26. They discovered Miller lying in the lobby of the shelter with lacerations to the neck and abdomen. EMS transported him to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. According to Pix11 and other outlets, Miller was a social worker at the shelter.
