A Bowling Green boy working toward his Eagle Scout rank is asking the community to help raise the funds needed to complete his project. Damon Manders, a BGHS student and member of Boy Scout Troop 358 in Bowling Green, has set a goal of building four pieces of dog agility exercise equipment for Lucas County Canine Care & Control. Last year, the troop made treats for dogs at the center. During the visit, Damon noticed the need for some newer agility exercise equipment, which will help shelter dogs develop physically and mentally improve their overall well-being.
