( WJET/WFXP )– Pennsylvania State Police in Erie County will be enforcing sober driving this holiday weekend.
PSP Erie announced Monday they will conduct a sobriety checkpoint the weekend of Jan. 3-5 and are asking everyone celebrating the new year to do so responsibly.

Anyone planning on going out and drinking is being asked to appoint a sober driver.
Last year, PSP said there were over 300 crashes and DUI arrests across Pennsylvania during the holiday weekend but were still down from 2022.
