Atlanta man, woman arrested on fraud, drug charges in Santa Rosa County: sheriff’s office

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — A man and woman from Atlanta were arrested on several charges after a traffic stop in Santa Rosa County, according to the sheriff’s office.

According to an SRCSO Facebook post , deputies made a traffic stop on Dec. 26 after the driver of a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer reportedly violated traffic laws and was driving distracted.

SRCSO officials said deputies searched the vehicle and ultimately seized a cloned credit card, 47 gift cards, 20 blank magnetic strip cards, a portable card cutter, two laptops, a printer, three unopened DeWalt tool sets, $4,312 in cash, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and 30 fake Tennessee’s driver’s licenses with the driver’s photo but different names and dates of birth.

The traffic stop led to the arrests of 48-year-old Dwyane Trevell Britford and 24-year-old Kashan Antoinette Hughes.

Britford, who was driving the vehicle, is accused of 30 counts of possession of forged driver’s licenses, possession of a cloned credit card, marijuana possession (less than 20 grams), and drug paraphernalia. SRCSO officials said he also had multiple active arrest warrants for similar crimes.
