CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – For the third straight year, GasBuddy has projected a drop in gasoline prices for the new year. The petroleum price-tracking and analysis company forecast the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline to drop to $3.22, down from $3.33 in 2024 and significantly below record highs in 2022.
