SEASIDE, Ore. – A 40-pound olive ridley sea turtle was discovered dead on Sunset Beach near Fort Stevens State Park, the Seaside Aquarium reported yesterday afternoon. The organization says recent storm systems moving up from the south have been linked to the increased number of sea turtle strandings along the Oregon and Washington coasts.
