Denver hospitals welcome the first babies born in 2025

DENVER (KDVR) — Three hospitals across the Denver metro area welcomed the first babies born there in 2025.

The hospitals were Denver Health, HCA HealthONE Rose and Saint Joseph Hospital and two AdventHealth hospitals.

Saint Joseph Hospital

Saint Joseph Hospital, part of the Intermountain Health system, welcomed its first baby of the year just after midnight at 12:25 a.m.

Baby boy Madden was born to his mother, Ineesha, weighing 4 pounds and 2 ounces. He was born early and will receive care in the neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital.

Intermountain Health said both baby and mother are doing well.

Denver Health

Denver Health welcomed a baby boy born at 1:49 a.m. His parents were gifted 2,025 diapers as a special gift for the occasion.

Baby boy Sammer was born weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces to parents Angelica Cambero Grisales and Jesus Arellano Sanchez.
