NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi North Central Bronx welcomed two newborn babies in the early hours of Jan. 1, the first children to be born at each facility in 2025. In Morris Park’s Jacobi Medical Center, at 12:41 a.m., proud, first time parents, Saiful Alom and Mahfuza Tasmine, welcomed their baby girl, Aliha Alom, into the world. Weighing in at 4 pounds, 3.9 oz, Aliha is just 17.3 inches long. The family are residents in the Morris Park community.
