Bryce Young, 15, and his passion for dance has captivated audiences, but now, he is leaning on the community for hope.

“I haven’t left the hospital since my nephew has been here,” his aunt Tabitha Angelillo said. “My sister is in another hospital, and I can’t be there for her.”

Bryce and his family were victims of a head-on crash caused by a suspected drunken driver on New Year’s Day. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 32-year-old Groveland man traveled in the wrong direction, hitting the family’s car.

“There is no reason that my family is doing the right thing, and someone else is doing something irresponsible, and my family has to pay for it,” said Austin Oliveira, Bryce’s cousin.
