Could the colder than normal weather trend be coming to an end? We’ll take a look at the latest climate data and talk about how the lack of snow… isn’t a bad thing for area anglers.

WHAT WE’RE TRACKING:

  • Flurries possible Sunday into Monday as a system moves through the Midwest
  • Staying below normal through most of the extended forecast
  • Little to no snow chances next week

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Temperatures are going to slip into the single digits above zero Saturday night into Sunday with a mix of partly cloudy to mostly cloudy sky conditions. Sunday is going to be variably cloudy with light snow/flurries possible beginning later in the day.

EXTENDED FORECAST: A large weather system is going to move through the Ohio River Valley which will cause a large area of high pressure to sit over the northern Plains and the upper Midwest. That means Wisconsin’s weather will likely stay quiet over the next week to week and a half with temperatures in the 10s to mid to upper 20s for highs.
