First Alert Weather: Warmer with rain Monday before a sharp drop in temperatures

The First Alert Weather Team says this morning is cold with temperatures in the 30s essentially areawide.

Here’s what you can expect:

A Freeze Warning remains in effect inland and Frost Advisory at the coast until 9 AM.
Today will be warmer with increasing clouds ahead of tomorrow’s system. Highs will reach the middle 60s.
Monday will be noticeably warmer into the 70s with a round of showers that will pass from west to east from mid-morning into the early afternoon.
Temperatures will quickly fall behind the passage of Monday’s cold front. Many neighborhoods will be at freezing Tuesday morning.
Cold and dry weather stays for the remainder of the upcoming workweek with the next chance for rain arriving Saturday.
