City approves new apartments near train station

The Downtown-Redlands train station has a new neighbor in the form of a four-story mixed-use residential and commercial development. On Dec. 17, the Redlands City Council unanimously greenlit the garden-style apartments at the vacant lot at the northeast corner intersection of Stuart Avenue and Eureka Street – only a couple hundred yards from the transit station. The Arrow rail and Metrolink provide service to the Redlands-Downtown station on the San Bernardino Line.
