Atlanta, Georgia – The City of Atlanta announced that it will keep offering vital diversion services even though its cooperation with Partners for Assistance in Diversion (PAD) is facing unexpected challenges. The action follows PAD’s Executive Director’s sudden suspension of their services with the city based on conflicts over the performance criteria in the past contract.
Aiming to guarantee that taxpayer money was used for the intended services, the city has been in negotiations with PAD to change the current agreement to incorporate clearer performance indicators.
