Winter Storm Pummels D.C., Baltimore, and Mid-Atlantic with Snow, Ice

Snow will begin in the Alleghenies and Shenandoah Valley between 6-9 PM, spreading eastward toward Washington DC and Baltimore by 3-5 AM Monday. The storm will intensify, with snow rates reaching 1-2 inches per hour, particularly impacting morning commuters. Light snow showers will persist through Monday evening, with brief ice accumulations possible in parts of Virginia and Maryland.
