Some would argue there’s nothing quite like the perfect cup of coffee in the morning. And Floridians have their choice of coffee shops. There are mainstream chains like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. But some prefer mom-and-pop shops like Bandit Coffee Co. or The Googan Coffee Shop. And now, Floridians are getting a new store of a combination between the two – a small coffee chain – Lucky Goat Coffee.
About Lucky Goat Coffee: Lucky Goat started roasting coffee in 2010. At first, its goal was to provide exceptional beans for other cafes. But people began to ask them to brew their own, so they eventually opened storefronts.
The stores are unique in that they want to share how to brew delicious coffee with their customers. Sure, you can go in and get a cup, but you can also take classes or learn how to make the perfect coffee yourself in-store.
The chain has six Florida locations – all in Tallahassee – but that is about to change.
Franchisee Traci Small told The Jacksonville Business Journal that the Tallahassee stores had a “big cult following.”
