CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Two teenagers are in custody after police say one of them shot at officers Sunday night in South Chicago.
Police said the teens were outside near 82nd and Coles when officers responded to some kind of disturbance at about 7:30 p.m.
Police said one of the young men pulled out a gun and fired at the officers then they ran away, but two 17-year-old boys were caught.
Police said they recovered two guns and did not return fire. No one was injured.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
