CHURCH POINT, La. ( KLFY ) — A man is dead after a house fire in Church Point on Jan. 2, authorities said.
The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating a fire at a house in the 7100 block of the Mire Highway in Church Point, a spokesperson said.
Acadia Parish Fire District No. 7 was called to the fire at around 1 p.m. Jan. 2, where they found the body of a man inside. He’s believed to be in his 30s, officials said.
No other information was released.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
