Trooper at center of Karen Read case to face Mass. State Police trial board

Murder case will face a state police trial board later this month, according to a new court filing. Trooper Michael Proctor, suspended without pay following damaging testimony during Read’s trial, is set to appear on Jan. 15 before a Massachusetts State Police trial board for allegations of misconduct during his duties as a trooper, according to a filing by Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey’s Office.
