Construction has officially begun on a $30 million rehabilitation hospital in Lakewood Ranch. Exalt Health will operate the facility, which will have 40 beds. It will offer programs for neurological, orthopedic and cardiac recovery and feature modern amenities as well as cutting-edge technology, officials say in a statement. Texas-headquartered Exalt Health specializes in rehab hospitals for those recovering from serious injuries or illnesses, with locations in Florida, Texas and Arizona.
