Brrr: Frost advisory overnight Tuesday in Lake County, Florida

Freeze warnings extend south of Gainesville early Tuesday morning as Florida residents wake up to a chilly day.

The cold weather will continue through most of the week, although temperatures may go up slightly before another blast of Arctic air arrives later in the week.

NOAA’s temperature outlook is predicting below-normal temperatures could continue through Jan. 20 in Florida.

Lake County faces a frost advisory 1-9 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. The overnight low will be 37 degrees Tuesday, 36 degrees Wednesday and 39 degrees Thursday.
