Tomorrow : High pressure will move north of Alabama on Wednesday continuing to send frigid northerly winds across the state. Expect plenty of sunshine with cold high temperatures in the lower 40s. Lows will be in the upper teens to lower 20s Wednesday night. Thursday will start clear, but clouds will increase during the afternoon ahead of a low developing in the western Gulf of Mexico. High temperatures stay in the lower 40s.

Our next weathermaker arrives on Thursday night into Friday night. It is currently over the SW USA. An area of low pressure will move east right along the Northern Gulf Coast.
We will have to watch to see where it tracks as that can drastically change the forecast. The low will send moisture/rain into the cold air over Alabama causing it to mix with freezing rain/sleet/snow during the morning.
