SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Timken Belts will soon begin mass layoffs, reducing its Springfield workforce by nearly one hundred people. Timken Belts manufactures timing belts used on engines. The company shared with state labor leaders that the first round of cuts will start in March. The final layoffs by the end of the year.
