SUNNYSIDE, Wash. —
6:00 p.m.: Investigators are at a home near North 14th Street and North Avenue after reports of a shooting.
Crime scene tape has blocked off North Avenue at North 14th Street and traffic has no access to the area.
Police are using a drone in the area as they continue their investigation into the case.
Officials said an investigation is underway after a woman was shot Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in the area of 16th and North Avenue.
Officials said the woman was taken to the hospital and her condition is not known at this time.
According to officials, the Sunnyside Police Department have two men detained who could be involved in the shooting.
