BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — It’s an exciting week for book lovers in Kern County.
After a year-long closure, the southwest Branch of the Kern County Library reopened its doors Monday. It shut down in Jan. 2, 2024 to improve the aging infrastructure. The project took twice as long to complete, but the the stacks are open for you to visit, according to is Fahra Daredia with the Kern County Library.
