Firefighters were quick to knock down an early morning fire at a building in Lynm.
According to Lynn Fire, crews fire received a call of flames shooting outside the windows of a building on Mount Vernon Street around 3:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters were greeted with heavy fire in a room on the third floor.
The fire was knocked down within an hour.
There are no injuries to report and firefighters say it was challenging to knock down the flames because of the cold.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
