OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Here are the headlines we’re bringing to you first on Wednesday, Jan. 8:. Repairs are nearly done after a garbage truck broke through pavement last Thursday in downtown Omaha. The incident created a massive hole and shut down 16th Street between Farnam and Harney. We are told sewer repair is complete and most of the utilities damaged by the collapse are fixed.
