Gwinnett Police arrest Suwanee man for alleged theft through a car purchase

The Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) arrested a Suwanee man minutes after he allegedly committing a $5,000 theft involving the sale of a vehicle. The GCPD’s Facebook page reports that on Monday, January 6, officers responded to a theft report at 1625 Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth, as the victim informed police he was attempting to purchase a white Dodge Charger from a male suspect he met on Facebook Marketplace. The suspect reportedly took $5,000 from the victim during the transaction and fled in the vehicle.
