Crime Stoppers seeking information on 2024 West Toledo murder

Toledo police are seeking information about the death of a 21-year-old man who died following a shooting in West Toledo on a Sunday morning in July.

Around 2 a.m. July 14, Toledo police responded to the intersection of Bellevista Drive and Eleanor Avenue on a report of a drive-by shooting.

Perrion Lee-Lamont James, 21, was driving in the 4300 block of Bellevista, when an unknown person began firing a rifle at his vehicle, police said.

Mr. James fled, but crashed his vehicle shortly after being shot. He was found in the 900 block of Eleanor.

He was taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
