Free Wi-Fi is now offered on all San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) buses.
“We’re thrilled to bring this enhancement to our riders,” RTD CEO Alex Clifford said in a news release. “Offering free Wi-Fi on all our buses is just one of the many ways we’re improving the public transit experience and ensuring that our services meet the evolving needs of our community.”
RTD officials said in the news release, that these also include the Local, Express, Hopper, and Commuter routes.
To access the free Wi-Fi, riders can connect to “RTD-Connect” and use the password provided on buses, the news release states.
“This new feature allows passengers to stay connected, work, or enjoy entertainment during their commute,” RTD officials stated.
