The DA’s office said a Toyota 4Runner being driven by 50-year-old Scott Decker was moving slowly on St. Stephens Drive when another driver passed it. Decker responded by pulling in front of the other driver and blocking his path.

Decker got out of his car and punched the driver in the face three times. The driver responded by taking out a handgun and firing a single shot, per the DA’s office.

“After a thorough review of the evidence and the circumstances of the assault on the driver, the
District Attorney’s Office concluded that no charges will be filed in this case,” the DA’s office said.
