LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – January is “National Radon Action Month” and state and local health departments are encouraging everyone to test their homes and buildings for radon gas.
Radon is the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the United States — behind smoking— so that’s why experts like Leslie Smith, with the state of Michigan, joined 6 News anchors Jorma Duran and Megan Viecelli to explain why everyone should know their risk of exposure.
