CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A man previously convicted of manslaughter is now charged with shooting at another car on Interstate 485 Wednesday, seriously injuring two, according to court records
The shooting occurred just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, on the I-485 Outer exit ramp to South Tryon Street, according to Charlotte Medic.
Police say a suspect shot at another vehicle while driving on I-485 after a dispute. Medic confirms with Queen City News that two people were shot and transported to Atrium CMC for treatment.
State Highway Patrol and Charlotte Mecklenburg Police officers found the suspect’s vehicle, and a chase ensued. The pursuit later ended with the suspect’s arrest.
