CHINO, California — Two juvenile suspects were arrested following a strong-arm robbery near Central and Francis on January 1, according to the City of Chino Police Department. The suspects allegedly conspired to rob a victim during a planned trade, assaulting the victim and stealing items valued at approximately $1,700.One suspect fled the scene but surrendered after a brief foot chase, while the second suspect was detained shortly after, stated the department. The stolen items, including jewelry, a phone, and a bicycle, were recovered and returned to the victim. Both suspects face charges of robbery, conspiracy, and obstruction.The Chino Police Department encourages the use of their dedicated meet-up spots in the department’s parking lot for safe transactions.
