NWS: Light snow accumulation might come Friday night into Saturday

DOVER – The National Weather Service released an updated forecast indicating that light accumulating snow will move through the region tomorrow night into Saturday morning.

Most will see less than an inch except for the southern half of Delmarva, which is forecasted to see totals of one to two inches, the NWS said.

According to the NWS, it will remain windy through today 40-45 mph for most. Some areas in the coastal strip of New Jersey and Delaware could see gusts upwards of 50 mph, the NWS said.

The wind advisories will continue through tonight, according to the forecast.
