Here’s what the roads look like as of Thursday at 8 a.m.

The department said to slow down, leave extra room between vehicles and give yourself extra time if you have to travel.

C-470

While the traffic near Denver is backed up, there isn’t standstill traffic everywhere.

C-470 is looking clear by 8 a.m. as far as cars go, however, the road conditions are still snowy and slick.

Interstate 70

I-70 doesn’t have much of a backup either, although the roads are wet.

Despite the current road conditions, the Pinpoint Weather team said skies will clear and the snow will wrap up across the metro area by noon, making the commute home hopefully much easier.
