AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Augusta Fire Department and EMA is warning drivers to be cautious on the roads, as weather conditions create dangerous driving conditions for first responders.
According to the a Facebook post from Augusta Fire on Friday , a vehicle accident caused a minor injury to one of their first responders while responding to a call.
“Please, be considerate of your speed and mindful of the road conditions. Let’s do our part to help keep our community safe,” the Facebook post read in part. “Slow down. Stay alert. Avoid unnecessary travel. Together, we can prevent more accidents.”…
